It's been a while since I've been around here since I've been traveling nonstop for weeks and haven't really been using a lot of things in my traincase. I went through my kit and realized that I'd not touched any of these items in at least 4 months! I want them to go to a good home where they can be loved :) Please add $1 for shipping and DC (I have to buy fresh envelopes!) All items will be sanitized and shipped within 3 days of receiving the payment. I will only accept PAYPAL and if you have CC Paypal, you will pay an additional 50 cents. So I recently found out that I'll be traveling about 6 months of the year for work and I realized that I have things in my traincase that have barely been touched. So I figure if I can do a huge sale now, I can get rid of these gems and then not have to worry about doing sales while I'm gone. It's a huge list and I am incredibly motivated to sell, so haggling is alright- just be fair. Pics will be uploaded later- never fails that whenever I post a sale, my camera battery is wonky. If you get to this before I even upload, just let me know if you need pics. Shipping will be $2 per transaction, PAYPAL only please- non-cc is best, and my feedback is on MUA under mikithebrain. FOR DOLLBRAIN Okay so I wrote a damn novel for you and then you deleted your post. But I still think what I had to say to you was important so here it is: What I would recommend is this: Use the yellow on the lid- I like that part a lot- but blend it into a deep, matte or satin blue or purple up into the crease. Add the green hue by adding a green liner all around the eye to give it that smoky eye effect but with lots of color- I'm thinking Shade fluidliner, but Jade Way technakohl is very pretty and would look cool too. I just think that using a lot of lustre-type shadows adds too much glitter and doesn't look polished enough for an application interview- even though the color story is pretty, is really distracts from your eye overall. Personally, if I was interviewing for the position, I'd really want to highlight my application skills because that ultimately is what makes them money- if the client doesn't like the way you applied their makeup, they're not going to buy anything from you. I know I've purchased quite a bit of useless items because I really loved the way that they were applied on me at the counter (hello, Shale e/s!!). Also- know the counter and what the girls (and guys) generally wear on normal days. If they mostly do basic, simple looks, maybe go that way with a pop of color......one thing I've always learned when interviewing is that you should try to give the interviewer the impression that you would fit right in with the existing staff (i.e. when I recently interviewed with a company that only allows its employees to wear white button front shirts as part of their dress code, I made sure that my look was something that I would wear to that job if I got it). I know this is a novel, but I think you should have every tool at your disposal to really make a great impression and GET THIS JOB! Woo! Day 3....  QuitMeter Counter courtesy of www.quitmeter.com. I can't believe I've stopped smoking. It hasn't been too hard yet. Cravings yes, but because of the patch, most of the physical stuff isn't a problem yet. Expect the coughing. I am hacking up 7 years worth of tar and nastiness. MAC e/s for swap!
Hi, I'm a new user who's getting sick of a few of my depotted e/s from MAC. I have the following:
Creme de Violet (2-3 uses)
Shale (2-3 uses)
Idol Eyes (2-3 uses; slightly lumpy from depotting)
Paradisco (lightly used, bought before falling in love with D'Bohemia)
Trax (2-3 uses, slight chip from depotting)
I also just bought a Melon pigment that I would be happy to swap with other samples of other pigments, esp. Fairylite, Golden Olive, Copper Sparkle.
I also have a few unused/lightly used lipsticks that I would be happy to trade for Lipglass.
Please let me know....I'd love to get a few new items! |
